Brighton Pharmacy SMS Consent and Opt-In Process
This page documents the in-person paper opt-in process used by Brighton Pharmacy. Patients do not opt in through this webpage.
How Patients Opt In
- During pharmacy enrollment, the patient is offered the Brighton Pharmacy patient intake form.
- The patient may voluntarily provide a mobile phone number.
- The patient may check the separate SMS consent checkbox.
- The SMS checkbox is unchecked by default.
- Patients who do not check the box may still become patients, obtain prescriptions, purchase goods, and receive all pharmacy services.
- Pharmacy staff record SMS consent only after the patient affirmatively checks the checkbox.
